Competition Regulations

International Global Spelling Bee, IGSB2026

The International Global Spelling Bee (IGSB) competition is organized through a collaborative partnership between Language Institute, Thammasat University (LITU) and Academic Contest (Thailand) Co., Ltd.. This academic collaboration is dedicated to elevating the standard of English language learning to meet international benchmarks.

Objectives of the Competition

To promote English language proficiency among young learners

To enhance vocabulary knowledge, spelling accuracy, and correct English pronunciation in accordance with international standards.

To foster confidence and communication skills on an international stage

To develop confident language use while providing students with experience in a competition environment that meets global standards.

To provide opportunities for students of diverse nationalities in Thailand to showcase their potential

To create a culturally diverse platform that promotes understanding and exchange among students from international and international-curriculum schools.

To encourage creativity and learning through engaging and challenging activities

To make English learning enjoyable by applying language skills through academically enriching and competitive activities.

Competition Levels

Participants are grouped by academic level to ensure fairness and standardized international competition.

All students participating in the IGSB competition will receive an official medal and certificate from the project.
